How I use your information
I use personal information where necessary to respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver training or other services, communicate about bookings, maintain attendance and training records, provide certificates where applicable, process invoices and payments, maintain legally required business records, improve my training and services, and operate and improve the Dementia Skills Academy website.
Where UK data protection law applies, I will only process personal information where I have an appropriate lawful basis. This may include performing a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into one, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights, or your consent where consent is required.

These providers may process personal information on my behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms.
Where information is processed outside the UK, I will rely on appropriate safeguards where required by UK data protection law.
How long I keep your information
I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining appropriate training records and meeting legal, accounting or tax requirements.
Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods.
